Throughout my life, I’ve served as a hotline crisis counselor, a soccer coach, an agile coach, and a leadership coach. In every context, the essence of coaching has been the same: guiding people through challenge, unlocking potential, and driving outcomes that matter. What changes is the stance required. This is why I believe the traditional framing of agile coaching no longer serves the realities of modern organizations.
